Connecting Communities Through Creative Expression

Photo received of the custom art canvases being assembled at Kukua Primary School, Koforidua.  June 2025 with Village by Village.

Where did this begin?

Every project has an origin.

Colour the World Better began when I realised how often art becomes proof of humanity, resilience, culture, joy and    identity. From childhood conservation work to community spaces and global classrooms, this is where my journey       started…

 and where this platform begins.

June 2025

Koforidua, Ghana.

My journey started gifting art to a newly built primary school in rural Ghana. After a wonderful call with Neil Kerfoot, the CEO of Village by Village, I began         creating a custom canvas for the children's new school.

I listened to the feedback from the students and realised how different cultures and                 communities around the world had such varied exposures and perspectives on art.

In a new effort to engage with the wider art scene around the world I started collecting strangers perspectives on the meaning of art itself.

6th December 2025

Initiative Launch.

After much research and a long lasting impression from the children's responses in Koforidua, I launched CTWB on Instagram as a global art           initiative. I opened with my first international community project that gained responses from over 26+ countries.

26th December 2025

Abu Shiha School,
Gaza.

I was delighted to secure my first education partnership running an Art for Writing exchange with the Abu Shiha School in Gaza. Truly honoured to work with TK, Yasmine and the resilient students of Abu Shiha to run this.

NOW

...growing.

Currently I am looking to grow, expand and strengthen relationships within the Art for Writing programmes, introduce events to CTWB schedule and build our next community project which you can contribute to! Go to our global community projects page to get involved or follow LIVE for more updates.
