About our Art for Writing Programmes

CTWB is working to create and implement creative literacy programmes in underserved communities where education is largely difficult to access. CTWB's Art for Writing programmes takes the form of a letter exchange sharing custom art in    response to creative written work and vice versa. Fostering a sense of positivity, compassion and shared sense of humanity, the programme aims to support the improvement of literacy rates, confidence in self-expression and the use of art for education.

Aims and Objectives:

To strengthen literacy through creative writing. Encourage confidence and emotional reflection. Foster global awareness, empathy and cross-cultural compassion. To use art as an accessible tool for communication.
